ok the cdma2000 (4g) is usa only atm so you must assume other cdma networks are us only to. I thud in edinburgh obviously and the 3g signal here over the last year has got slowly worse, so is a device with no gsm a smart option? Not for the money it costs i don't think. * +

in the us they are using wimax mobile 802.16e-2005 which is fast the uk,europe and africa will use LTE 4G kenya is still in the testing phase of LTE i just hope they are using the frequency spectrum wisely kenya is not 4G ready as their 3G has no covered all area of their country they should rather concetrate on improving the network than chase expensive projects. * +

vodacom and mtn will silently test LTE like most countries like kenya LTE will go for corporate clients first then the consumers once they roll out a completed 4G network which takes time and lots of money to build up * +
