I'm going to get one tomorrow. I have been using symbian for years. Yes they good multimedia devices but i hardly use its features because it's the same thing over and over just different names. I cant afford really expensive nokia's, htc, iphone. So i'm just getting an 8520. I spend a lot of time on the internet browsing for information so i'm sh*re i made the right choice * +

I just have a few questions about the phone. Is the screen really 65k? I don't understand why it looks much clearer than a nokia with a 65k screen. What 0s is blackberry. Name a few essential apps for the phone. * +

essential... Blackberry app world to download apps both free n cost... Make sure u get blackberry pin app for instant messaging but this will work if u have the blackberry internet service active on your sim. Your phone isnt 3g so your net wouldnt be as fast as say a blackberry bold... The screens on the current modern range of blackberrys are good n rich. * +

facebook n twitter apps are available too... I find google maps works great on my bold... Theres a cool dictionary app too available... App choice isnt as varied or in depth as symbian, android or iphone but still blackberrys are great messaging phones n organisers * +

RIM makes BlackBerrys. BlackBerry is the OS,and its based on Java,or is a java platform.You should've gone for a 5800xm,its better for Internet and Music.8520 doesnt even have basic 3G,but if ur happy with it thats fine. * +
