so my beloved G1 is due a upgrade next month .....question is what do i ask for ? not a fan of i phones as a few friends have em and i can never make out what they say. i love the touch screen of the G1 but allso love the flip open key pad ??? *

Id suggest looking at the Motorola Milestone. Its built almost like the G1, it has a slide out keyboard, 5MP camera,a much more powerful TI OMAP CPU with graphics acceleration, a much larger screen, it just doesnt have the trackball but has a dpad next to the keyboard and runs a newer version of the same OS the G1 runs. *
