as the title says, my n900 is running at 800mhz and its whizzing, web is faster, youtube vids play better, UI is faster, cam is faster etc, got more tests to do, theres a thread over at maemo.org about it. * +

...nd in a month willb...it was so fast that processor burnt lol...overclocking (yes thats the correct term) a pc or laptop is one thing as they have at least a cooling system...a mobile doesnt...nd ove clock will make the cpu to heat at least double...well gud for u if it works nd hope it will work long...im just carefully warning...try to make a citroen to go as fast as a lamborgini Nd ull see:D * +

lol dani first ign of stability issues iv got the original kernel ready, so far so good, also another device (cant remem what model) uses same omap chip and thats set to 800mhz by default, so should be nothin to worry bout, but will do tests over few days * +

well maybe same chip bt rest of hardware nt the same nd if uve a machine where the hardware heats already of course ull have to downclock the cpu unit at production so u wont get it burnt...it has been so for ages nd it will allways b at lea t untill they find new polymers to make chips of or an enough small nd performing cooling system tht will fit on an handheld unit * +
