Ok i have mp3s on my phone and they play but i recently downloaded more and they wont play. its the same mp3 format as the rest. is it because i had it before i got my new phone? its a pantech duo. or do i need to add the songs by syncing with windows media player on my computer? and how do i do that since i can only download to my phone? * +

I always just put my phone in mass storage mode and put them on from the computer. Scan them with an AV before moving them to your computer though. * +

'is it because i had it before i got my new phone?' had what? A memory card from a previous phone? I noticed that Windows Media player is kinda picky about any mp3 that's been edited or had cover art added - if you don't have Coreplayer that would probably be your best bet to ensure your mp3s play - there are links in this forum. * +

well i see only one explaination for it...the bitrate of the concerned songs maybe wasnt recognised by wmp anymore at a time. what happens with tcpmp is tht it installs new nd better codecs on the sistem nd wnp codecs get updated too *
