Generally, but not always, is the somewhat confusing reply . Your device is QVGA (320 x 240) so you should look out for QVGA apps, but some software will be listed as: QVGA, VGA, WVGA etc. and such apps will install to the correct resolution for your device. *

WM allows an application designed for QVGA screen to be run on VGA. I had a HTC universal -99 percent of apps worked...pixel doubling enables this *
