It's out on their ftp server, but no official announcement - don't get excited though: it's the same 'Opera Midi' they foisted on our Symbian brethren (basically Opera Mini with better javascripting in a .cab install). It's slow-scrolling and doesn't even do flash (which 9.7 will with a 3.1 plugin). I've got to start work in a sec, so can't do any advanced testing, but quite frankly I don't want * +

to anyway - it seems pointless if you have Mini 5 beta and one of the proper Opera Mobile builds. There's also lots missing from the config, like being able to alter the adaptive zoom. I'll check whether it uploads properly at lunchtime (there's an upload problem with 9.7 beta) and then I'll probably delete it. Runs from storage card if you're interested. Cab here: http://ri.ms/umegg 4.5mb * +

Can't force it to show the main Youtube site despite altering the 'spoof user agent' setting in the config, but it streams from m.youtube in Coreplayer very, very quickly. Embedded flash in a page doesn't show at all (like Mini) itWILL show the full desktop of some sites liYahoo though, gotta go.. (hurry) * +

Uploads and downloads perfectly, even from cr*pidshare, too many issues for lunchtime, more capable than I at first thought, back later. * +

Erm, that's kinda off-topic, I'd suggest you ask in one of the Blackberry or Mini topics. Mobile 10 isn't too bad when you get used to it, but I still can't force it to get the desktop view of some sites. I'm waiting for some answers from Opera in this forum topic: http://ri.ms/mxj7 and I'll report back on any progress. * +

How is it on RAM for you guys? Desktop view is where its most reliable, switch to mobile view and thats where the freezing starts, hope it aint like that on WM. * +

I've only had one freeze, and that was because I did the password managers head in . It's less RAM-hungry than 9.7, reasonably light in fact, and mobile view is fine. No flash plugin support is a real pain though - I asked the developers and they replied with something rather cryptic about 'not wishing to reveal the roadmap of the UI make of that what you will.. * +
