hey guyz...im using an htc s710. my backspace and 'm' key on the slide out keypad jus stopped workn like literaly a minute ago. cn sum1 tel me wat cud b da prob? evrythn else works perfect and da fne is in great condition so i dnt knw wat the prob could be. any help would be appreciated * +

I presume that if you'd spilled anything on it you'd have mentioned it. They're both on the right-hand side of the phone aren't they, so they may just be sticking temporarily - try powering off and pressing them both down HARD a few times, then power on again. * +

If that doesn't work, try an itty bitty drop of WD-40. Sounds crazy but I had a nokia E62 I couldn't use cause of sticking keys and that fixed it. * +

Also (if it's not a sticking issue) were you using one of the 9.xx builds of Opera when the problem occurred? With both 9.5 and 9.7 on a couple of occasions suddenly certain keys wouldn't work in text input boxes, but a soft reset sorted it. * +

its working now..i was usin opera mini nt mother opera. the backspace and the 'm' key r workin bt nw the fullstop is bug*erin wit me. i did do a reset which sortd da problem but nw the fullstop key needs a hard push 2 work. i just got the phone yestaday and up until now i never had a single prob * +

Are you having the key problems in other apps (messaging and so forth) or just Mini? If you're using 5beta there are numerous input problems with the software in its current form. If the problems are occurring throughout the device follow witch1s advice above. *
