FFS, there are 3 Nokia flagship stores in this country! And Nokia stubbornly refuses you offer devices with the 850 mHz 3 G band unless its a carrier banded device-of which there is only 1, the E71x for Att. Thats the ONLY Nokia smartphone offered by any US carrier.Though there are 2 or 3 s40's for 20 usd for prepaid. * +

Nokia has no brand recognition here. Nobody, except us tech geeks, has heard of Symbian or Maemo. Yet, EVERY American knows Microsoft, Windows, Google, and now (thanks to the Android and Droid ads), Android and Apple. But no recognition of Symbian or Maemo. * +

Its a shame realy, that N900 looks like an absolute powerhouse with the multitasking ui and Maemo apps luk fantastic, would do well if its marketed properly,bt ye no 850mhz once again. I often hear that complaint frm American S60 users at HoFo and S-F, amazing NOKIA have only done the E71x,they dnt seem to care much for the US Market. * +

In general, most HTC devices are either quad band 3G or 2 separate devices are made-one with Euro 3G, one with American 3G. *
