personal data assistant.....i believe it is a smartphone like the google G1 or I phone 2 exanples there many more ..but i think u have full internet access lots of memory ..video and audio playback and lots of features otherwise not found on regular phones..and lots of applications you can add also... * +

Simply, a pda is a mobile computer. It can be a smartphone, ppc, or umpc. Most, though not all, pda's run windows mobile. I'll get slagged, but, an iphone or nokia is not a pda. * +

PDA = Personal Digital Assistant which could mean anything up to and including R2D2 really.. 
. Smartphones are usually categorized as devices running Windows Mobile without a Touchscreen. The N95, whils being smarter than some devices that are called 'smartphones' is not classed as a smartphone - is it any wonder people get confused? The liephone is a law unto itself. * +

Agree garion.N95 is cool and smart but is a multimedia device.The cr*pple phone is barely a phone, most definantly not smart.But it is pretty! Kinda like a really stupid though hot blonde.Fun for a second, but, ultimately boring and useless. * +
