My contract is nearly out, the phone i like touch pro2 is not being sold by my network, tmobile. But i can either stay with t.mob and get the touch pro1 for free for 25 a month contract, or i can get a touch pro2 for 170 thru a 2nd party and stay on t.mobile, or i can get a unbranded touch2 for free on vodafone for 30 a month, on paper i should change to voda, but been with t.mobile for years.help * +

You don't mention what your current device is, this'd probably be useful info for anyone with experience of the Pro to advise you on the change. From a purely network perspective - these phones are capable of a lot of streaming, easy torrent access and so forth, and my understanding is that T-mobile block a lot of streaming, P2P file-sharing, torrents and so forth, if that's an issue for you. * +

Thank you for your reply, my current phone is a tytn2, just wonder if the touch pro2 is worth paying 170 for or changing contract, as opposed to getting a touch pro1 for free. Also will i be happy knowing i got 2nd best for 18months. Obviously you can't answer my last question. Does anyone know how much better the pro2 is comparison to the pro1. Is it 170 quid better and worth the network change? * +

Not me. On ATT, my rates are the same as contract.I'm on prepaid. I always buy unlocked devices anyway. I pay roughly 70.00 a month.I don't make many phone calls-mostly data. * +
