I was surprised to find that there's no specific topic related to the app in this forum. It's now been updated to version 3.2 which in addition to street view has 'layers' - you can add layers for Wikipedia, traffic, My Maps, transit and recent searches. For a full list of the new features see the 'google maps streetview' topic in the s60 forum (saves me pasting it all into this topic.) * +

Google maps 3.3 released. New in this version: sync your starred items between desktop and mobile. There are various cosmetic changes: loading an address now shows a thumbnail of street view and there's an extra 'what's here?' item on the info page, see gif here: http://ri.ms/rbclh get it using default browser here: http://google.com/gmm * +

Version 4.0 released, now with Google Buzz - Share a tip, make a recommendation, post a picture or say what's happening now and tag it with a place. See on a map what people are talking about, such as a concert or upcoming traffic jam. See the buzz about a place or business, such as the best dish at a restaurant. http://google.com/gmm * +

Version 4.1 released now with voice search - simply hold the 'call' button on your device to voice search. Normal typed search is also available if desired. I've found the voice recognition to be very accurate in my limited testing so far, then again I'm sober - I'll try it again drunk2 later.. * +

Well the voice recognition still worked fine for me even after a good few glasses of cabernet sauvignon drunk, but NOTE: it's set up to recognize either British English, American English, Australian English, New Zealand English, Indian English or Mandarin, so I'm not sure how it'll react to other dialects/accents. * +
