No hands-on, so feel free to ignore the following.. it does indeed look hotter than July - I want to have its babies.. or for it to have my babies.. um, something to do with babies.. anyway, I constantly wind my sister up about her G1 being a 'fat phone' and basically it looks like HTC have made a slim G1 and all credit to them. But I'll be pan-fried and sauted in garlic before I'd get a device * +

with such an 'unfinished' OS, i mean it's not in beta or anything but it's got so many flaws.. ask the other Android users here - what it does it does so well it makes you lust, but it's all the 'lil everyday things it won't do that kills it for me as an option - animated cliparts on here and no bluetooth with other devices being only two of its sins.. * +

However I should point out that despite the systems limitations - not being able to save attachments to device, music player problems, browser issues and so on, my sis has had this phone longer than any other she's owned, I mean MONTHS.. this is unprecedented and therefore I'd change a 2 out of 10 negative review to 'essential purchase' grin * +

I really can't say with regard to the Hero Schlim - my comments were more about the OS as it currently stands; the HTC Android devices seem to have the same problems - there are topics here about it, but I can't recall any topic titles, if you search for 'bluetooth' you'll probably find the one, also check any HTC Magic topics. Certainly neither me or my niece could exchange files with the G1. * +

Yes it HAS bluetooth as do the other HTC Android devices, but it seems you can only pair headphones with it etc. I pasted a comment by HTC on their own website about it recently in this forum, I'll in find it. * +
