Opera Mobile 9.7 beta will be released 'soon' (no date given) this will include Opera Turbo making for an even faster and more fluid browsing experience. Gosh, do hope they're right, I really like the sound of this and perhaps it'll work with the Touch keyboard or even the hardware keypad on my Dual. * +

Pity opera feels the need to use it's own server. I'm not too comfortable using opera's server for sensitive info. * +

Well if you read through the comments to the blog bro, there's an option to turn 'turbo' off - but to be quite honest the turbo option is only doing what Opera Mini does (albeit with the functionality of full Opera Mobile) and millions of people use that.. the speed of it looks fantastic in the video, and if you listen to the voiceover they hamstrung it by deliberately using a standard GPRS * +

connection - imagine how fast it'll be on HSDPA.. from the tone of the blog, it does indeed sound like it's ready for release in beta form, unlike that 'OPERA 9 COMING SOON!' bull we put up with for two years. * +

Ah right..i'll be switching off 'turbo' then. I wouldn't want my national lottery details etc lying somewhere in the depths of opera's server. but I'm of the opinion IE 6 Mobile should suffice...even with device side rendering *MS fanboy*
