Im looking into getting an omnia, ive never had a nice phone before and was hoping someone could help explain this... 29.99 for 50 mb a month or 45.99 for 5 gb... Does that mean 50 mb of downloading? Or does browsing the internet use the mb? I really dont understand how it works or what exactly i would be paying for. Any help please thanx * +

Whenever you view a page on the internet/wap you download it therefore browsing and downloading are the same thing. 50mb wont give you a great deal of usage and depending on what you plan to do 5gb can easily get sw*llowed up too. Just think your average DVD film is approximately 4gb! * +

I was about to agree wholeheartedly with cheeky, and I think it's an excellent and informative response - but 5gb would probably do most people for a month on a PPC/PDA or phone, I've really only exceeded that per month when I've got a new phone and I'm browsing for, and downloading loads of apps. * +

and cheeky's also right about the size of a film - but how often are you going to download full films to your PHONE..? Are you really gonna spend 2 and a half hours watching it? Best to just download clips/sketches/cartoons and so forth. But the point is that 50 dollars a MONTH is pretty expensive. I pay 30 GBP a month on payandgo for unlimited data. * +
