Kind of a big announcement from Microsoft and LG at MWC just now. LG's going to make Windows Mobile its primary smartphone operating system, and it sounds like there's going to be some serious cash involved from both sides to make it happen. No specific device plans yet, but that's going to change big fast- LG's going to drop 50(!) WinMo handsets on us through to 2012. * +

HTC is releasing a sequel to the the Touch Diamond - the new Touch Diamond2 has a 3.2-inch 480 x 800 LCD screen, with a 5 megapixel camera. There is a new touch zoom bar below the screen -- and is also the new version of TouchFLO 3D. * +

HTC has also unveiled an updated version of Touch Pro - the new Touch Pro2 has pretty impressive looks and a 3.6-inch 800 x 400 screen. * +

Unfortunately it's the qualcomm MSM7200 @ 528 MHz although they will receive a free WM 6.5 Upgrade when it's available. I still don't see anything from HTC that's really really an upgrade from my TyTN II! * +
