Ah that's good news bro . The first time I set a pic as my wallpaper I was HORRIFIED by what you called the 'washed out' look, fortunately I'd already noticed the transparency setting below it, appalling that the option isn't there on the TYTN - why on earth would anyone want their homescreen to look like that? * +

Also just noticed you can have one pic set for portrait and a different pic for landscape so its all good. * +
