You don't mention what device you have, but on my Touch Dual when the camera is open pressing the arrow at the bottom of the screen opens the options menu, and in the middle of the bottom row is a camera icon - tapping on that will change to the forward-facing camera. In a video call there should be four icons in the status bar below the main call screen, tapping the one on the extreme right * +
