Do they still basically format themselves when the battery dies? If so i find this the only flaw with windows devices. Do you know if the dreaded blackberry suffers with the same issue? * +

Could anyone confirm this please? Ie back the phone up and take the battery out and leave it out over night then put the battery back in the morning and let me know if for example the contacts are still there. * +

that was a problem with wm2003 and earlier operatinf systems. since wm5 that problem has been fixed. you can leave the battery out for a week without any loss of data * +
