compared my N81 to S710, and TouchDual and theres definetly a difference, the N81 is A LOT more bassy and great stereo seperation,and instruments are all very clear, done with both my my SE HPM-70 in ear headphones and a pair of Shures. * +

Like polo said before, the 5700xm has a dedicated sound chip so unless your htc has one, it won't better 5700xm, n78, n81, n91 *
