windows mobile 5 smartphone, same as xda exec. use it on the web with my wireless lan network. question: switch on, activate wireless lan, goes into scanning mode but never picks my network up. if i press the reset button on the phone it immediately finds my network once it has booted up again. deactivate wireless lan on phone then reactivate a few minutes later, scans again but doesnt find my net * +

press the reset button again and hey presto when it boots back up the phone finds my network again. to use wireless lan i have to switch it on and reboot the phone everytime to get it to work? why is this anyone know? its never done it before and it does the same with my mates wireless network. could my software need updating? is it a bug? * +

probably a software conflict. why not put wm6 or wm6.1 on it? if you dont want to upgrade the rom just start uninstalling the last applications one by one untill it works properly again. test your wireless between uninstalls so you dont remove any more than you have to * +

ta mate but i wouldnt ave a clue how 2 put windows 6 on my phone i wouldnt know where to start. and surely i wud ave 2 pay a lot of dosh for windows 6 or 6.1? can anyone help? * +

secondly my mda pro rejects all incoming bluetooth data why when i can send via bluetooth 2 another phone? * +

goto start, settings, connections, tap beam icon and make sure the 'recieve all incoming beams' box is checked/ticked. if it isnt tap it and press ok problem solved. cant help with your wi fi problem or wm6 installation sorry. * +
