Iam searching 4 a fax app 4 my xda 2. Someone told me i shud search 4 a pocket pc progamme. But someone else told me that wudnt work cos my device software is windows mobile 2003 which is correct. My xda 2 has pocket pc stamped on it and its also windows mobile. How can it be both lol? Is pocket pc a seperate platform to windows mobile or wot? Iam confused. * +

Cos i just dont believe its called a pocket pc just cos it fits in yur pocket! Somehow that dont ring true. * +

I dont know anything the pocket pc platform or why its stamped on your device. But one thing iam 100 percent sure about is that the xda2 is windows wm3. So search for a wm3 fax app. * +

ok to clear it up you have a windows mobile pocket pc running on windows mobile 2003. you need a fax application that is compatible with windows mobile 2003 for pocket pc (AKA PPC) there are two platforms for windows mobile, windows mobile ppc and windows mobile for smartphone. ppc platform is for touch screen devices like your xda, wm2003 for smartphone is used for none touch screen devices. on t * +

on the latest windows mobile devices you will find them as wm6 professional and wm6 standard. professional is touch screen and standard is none touch screen or smartphone * +
