Got mine unlocked a while ago. Only just got it working on 02 GPRS wap and what a fantastic phone it is on wap! The speed is amazing, and you can also view web pages via the phones HTML browser at a surprisingly reasonable speed too. Although the HTML capability didnt surprise me since its obviously there for when 3 lift their walled garden if they ever do. Highly reccomend this phone on wap. * +

If its this fast on wap then the speed should be blistering on 3g. Which raises the question about 3's services! Why are they as slow as they are? Just proves again how cr*p Hutchinson 3 services are. Ok i admitt the phone has more data to process on 3g services but surely it should be at least as fast as wap lol * +

Lol ur always talking to yourself in these forums! I use my LG U8110 for wap now its so much faster. I can view web pages but its real slow at loadin them up tho, do u know If i could get a java web viewer to download for this phone? Askin u cause u seem to know everythin about these phones Lol * +

Yes it is fast but wait till you can access web on 3 as we can in oz downloading pictures or video take a third of the time at most , and about time somebody did it to access web in the uk on other sims as it works in oz with vodafone and others. * +

But unfortunately not all sites are possible some will say HTTP requested too large , do hope the new motorola 3g phones dont have this problem is it due to the small memory on the phone tandy? Also some sites even wap sites comes back saying content *syntax* wat does this mean? * +

check dis out i got da LG G1600 beautiful phone real fast and gr8 memory but da java games suck dats da only prob got eny sites 4 me phne * +

It could be the memory. Suppose it depends on the size of the website and how many graphics it contains. For instance if i go to Nokia home page its ok, but if i click on list all phones it reports it as to large, which is not surprising considering how many Nokia models have been released in the last 8 years! And there is a picture of every one of them. * +

The U8110 has 16mb internal and the U8120 32mb internal. (U8150 64mb internal) its not a lot considering at least half of that memory could be full up with photos, video clips and ringtones. I did download a java web browser for my Sharp GX-20 once, but it refused to work on this phone. But with 2mb internal memory what do you expect! Unfortunatly i havnt got the site address anymore * +
