Dual band basically means it can operate on two different frequencys. Dual band works in the uk, so i'd imagine yes, the phone in question should work in the u.k *

A dual band phone works on the frequency ranges close to 900 or 1800 Mhz. In the US they use 1900 Mhz so you have to use a tri-band phone. *
