My friends got a LG and he was playing around with the thing,changed the security code.Then a few week later he was playing with the thing again,switch on security code and switched on the phone.Now he cant remember the security code and the phone asks 4 it b4 he can use the phone. Is there a way 2 reset security code on the phone? * +

i know nothing about lg mate... try search the net for a mastercode type thing or maybe even a hard reset code. * +

Look in the user book and see if it gives a master clear or reset number to put in it. try the master reset first. The master clear will clear the whole phone out. * +
