Do u have the cd with the lg software? If so turn on the infrared from the phones setings and then the pc should say lg8x x x is in range. Then start lg phone manager and configure the com port(should be with a * on it), and ure in! *

same with usb but u have 2 instal drivers from the lg soft cd. U can get the soft from www.wowlg.com *
