Have you rang orange to register your sim? Have your IMEI at the ready as this is required before the sim can be activated. * +

Phone might need the orange software loaded onto it. Especially if orange don't support the phone. * +

If orange dont support the phone take it into an orange shop and ask for a modulation check, they look through orange phones for 1 with a simalar settings program then should put them in for u or print them out. * +
