I hated Abacab with an absolute passion when it was released, as it just wasn't the Genesis album I wanted at that time - I wanted another Trick of the Tail or at least a Duke, but I recently bought it again, and with hindsight it's got a lot of good points and I really like it now.

Conversely, I didn't really like any Yes albums until the one referenced by your username. (shake) * +

I've got all the Genesis albums, but I tend to get my Duke thrills from the 'When In Rome' dvd as that material (which often starts their live shows) comes across so powerfully that the studio version then sounds a bit.. flat I guess. * +
