the beatles were ''cool'' back in the sixties in the same way the Prodigy are cool in the 90's upto now. Infact the prodigy have been going for 20 years now which is twice as long as the beatles at a guess. So you could say they have been more successfull overall. But people still love the beatles 50 years on so they are still just as cool in that sense. * +

both bands are favourites of mine but in another 50years time people will still be talking about the beatles in the same breath as jacko abba elvis where as the prodigy will just be a distant memory *
