I agree with pw...simply because Joe Lyn Turner is the lead vocals on it, it has more of the Rainbow sound to it. If u love that, u must pick up the 'Akira Jajiyama + Joe Lyn Turner' Disc...Just as brilliant * +

''by far the best album they ever made''...Calm down, this album is good but not their best of course. More soft and melodic, it has a Rainbow flavour. But DP never released a cr*p album, this band as i have said million times is One Of A Kind in Rock genre. I have seen this line up live (with Blackmore/Turner) back in 1991. * +

This is true too, even though im still more of a Rainbow man, Deep Purples Perfect Strangers was the Kick as* of all Lp's...But, it has been written, that Turner is the better Vocalist. Gillans best solo,'Tool Box', for my ears anyway. * +
