I think he is overrated, he made playing guitar cool and had some good riffs, but he's not the guitar playing Jesus everyone makes him out to be. Most influential yes, but best no. * +

Only numpties can say that Jim was the best guitarist. Even in his years, i can name few hundrends better guitarists (and not only from Rock). The point about Hendrix isnt if he was the best guitarist or not. * +
