I really like them, my fave song is windowlicker. The video is a bit nasty but aren't all of them and aren't all videos unsuitable for the song. only rediscovered them again recently, had forgotten how good they are. what's ur fave aphex twin song? * +

Well Aphex is actually just one guy: Richard D James, and personally I'm a big fan of the Windowlicker vid as it sends up so many sexist and mysogenistic vids but is hilarious throughout (especially the arrival of the 100ft long Aphex pimpmobile and the expression on the girls faces when he wound the window down.. Favourite would probably be Come To Daddy or anything of Selected Ambient. * +

I think Squarepusher lives somewhere near Aphex too from memory, so you're in good company there mate..

Well Squarepusher (Tom Jenkinson) makes very similar music to Aphex (and indeed uZiq which I can't write properly here). Check out the Chris Cunningham directed video of 'Come On My Selector' for a good example of his weirdness. * +

Drukqs has some fine moments 
but it's a bit patchy - I know it's kinda heretical to say, but I think Aphex's best work has been as a remixer; check out '26 Mixes For Cash', the guy can continually make silk purses out of sows ears. * +
