I think it's pathetic, they take a perfectly good song, use a part that sounds nice then repeat it for 5 minutes with a beat, then they rap over it and call it music. That takes absolutely no talent to do. I can acknowledge people like Lupe Fiasco the Gorillaz and other alternative Hip hop bands but the rest are just sad and talentless. I had the displeasure of hearing a sampled Day-O and hide and seek in quick succession. *

Since the samplers became so cheap, every numpty has one. And we all know the result. I recal the old good days, when a sampler's price was similar with a price of a expensive new car, and only few people_real musicians_could buy it and make real music. *
