Collins was a drummer and a singer from genisis group to solo, exellent writer and years of hits. they all say they are giving it up...but will always make a comeback * +

Well I'm gonna buck the prevailing trend and say that I'm sorry to see him go - sure, he was responsible for some saccharine, disposable and sometimes pernicious singles, but he was/is a brilliant drummer with an ability to lie behind and lead the beat which I've rarely heard equalled, and for that, and excellent vocals on mid to late 70s Genesis albums, he deserves respect. Retire In Peace. * +
