If you're thinking if getting into music production, then I'd recommend Ableton live. FL studio is good for beginners and you can get good sounds out of it, but Live is a much better program * +

Yes i agree with 3rddrail, FL studio is a good if you are beginner, but for proffesionals it is definitly Abelton Live, and also every new edition of FL studio is better and better.. * +

wow!! If u say FL is for begginers I cant imagine how complicated it is AL... Had FL 9, made a few sounds but never did get how to do it properly... (only tried it for couple of months and not straight) * +

Yeah, it does take time to learn how to use these programs properly, you can't expect to make a tune without knowing how to do it! There's some good tutorials online on how to produce tracks of different genres, just search in google * +
