Regrettably NOT everyone has a hit - the most talented artists are the least likely to have 'hits', as complex and involving music is not easily assimilated by a low-attention span mass market. Lady Gaga has 'hit' records, name one by The Enid or Susumu Yokota.. 'Hit' just implies a Pavlovian response from a musically illiterate populace. * +

Fun and Media I think covers movies. Must see - Betty Blue (dir. Jean Jaques Beneix) startlingly evocative soundtrack by Gabriel Yared, a descent into loss and madness by The principal protagonist (Beatrice Dalle) but with many hilarious moments along the way (Tequila Rapido, Zorgs cross-dressing robbery) beautifully shot. * +

Weve been getting under 10pound movies. Quite a lot of foreign films. and normally a few years old. I cant believe how inexpensive movies are here. Ghibli films are 30usd and onky 10pounds. Its crazy. But I really enjoyed Waltz With Bashir oh and City of God. Lots more but who cares about the list. * +
