Well The Specials weren't gorgeous, with spectacular pecs, breasts or thighs, and had a lamentable tendency to write great music and play instruments rather than sitting around waiting for Simon Cowells machine to hoodwink a gullible celebrity-obsessed public. The sight of a glorified pole dancer scooping the Grammys says it all.. Fortunately The Specials are still gigging. * +
