I use ableton 8, never really used any of the fl series. I have to say ableton is a brilliant program tho, it's a little tricky to use at first but once you're passed that then you can make really professional sounding music. I've also got an akai apc 40 which was designed to be used with ableton, I can use it for production, doing live tracks and DJing * +

Reason's great as well, it's got some really powerful synths in it. It can be desired to run with ableton, so you can use abletons sequencer to run reasons synths and effects. * +

I mainly do uplifting and tech-trance, but sometimes do breaks, triphop and other styles. Ableton has a great warp function that let's you adjust the speed of tracks, but keep the pitch the same, makes it easier to mix and gives me time to do live bits in my mixes * +

Uplifting trance?that is a sub-genre of psychedelic trance,i also work on full on psy trance,and nitzhonot,and i experiment with psybreaks * +
