Excellent choice, solid, reliable, nice firm black ash base on later models. My last turntable was an Ariston RD80 with independently adjustable suspension, using an Ortofon MC200 cartridge with its own head amp. That was before the major labels forced us into buying their more cost-effective format (cd) by deliberately producing lousy vinyl pressings. * +
