Im somewhat clueless when it comes to genres, especially with rock, alternative, nu metal, death metal etc. Could you give a description of the genres u listen to nd a corresponding band/artist. Just 2 clear it up 4 me nd anyone else who'd be interested in knowing the differences. Dnt limit it to rock either, rap, rnb, house etc. Anything with sub-genres, would be good to know. * +

I listen to metal. If its good metal I listen to it. Although not big on genres as it appears bands these days seem to make up gernres and subgenres w*lly nilly, I like Folk Metal, Black Metal, Industrial, Gothic, some Death, some Prog, Thrash and old school 80s punk. But in general genres mean nothing to me. * +

I like a lot of rock and indie, but got back into my trance this year. The main kinds I love are progressive trance (long buildups, lots of layers that change over the track), tech-trance (more basic trance with lots of percussion and a more simplified melodic breakdown) and uplifting trance( big, full sounding tracks with melodies that build up to something epic) I do like techno, dnb, * +

I mainly listen 2 House. Deep-very mellow n loungish, soulful-uplifting touches on rnb gospel motown styles, funky-reminiscent of disco, latin-samba n rumba flavours with latin drums, afro n tribal-African inspired house with african style vocals n drum beats. * +
