why buy a brand new one when there are like a few billion of them out on the 2nd hand market. their good for what they are, really playable but everyone loveing has one which is why i hate them. some of them do have some screaming tones though no doubt about that * +

I got myself a highway one strat for like 400, got some 1950s seymour duncan single coils for 80 and wired them up, got some ivory saddles for 15. 1950s strat for under 500, job done. * +
