I hav been inda industry for 5 years and i've found alot of interesting facts.Many producers sale their beats at very low prices after spending alot of time energy creating them.they usually dont know the procedure to use when selling their beats.they dont issues of copyright, exclusive or non-exclusive rights contracts.they dont know how to find clients to buy their beats.do u wanna know how? * +

First of all when u come up with a beat u hav to find a buyer.how do u find a buyer?these are a few ways.You first put the beat on a cd,dat or 8track.befor takin the beat anywhere,get to a copyright association center and you will be required to pay a fee for them to put copyright protection on your beat.after this step thats when u can decide to sell it.in my next words.i will explain why it is important to copyright da beat * +

Copyrighting the beat will make u have the legal rights to sue anybody who uses your beat without yo permission.if yo beat goes into the wrong hands and its not copyright protected,then my friend u r totaly fked, it gets worse if that someone u gave yo beat to copyright protects it b4 u do.when it gets to that level then u cant do anything bout it.i'm sure u know now why copyrighting is important. * +

nobody puts copyright on works it is automatically granted to the original creator...you just have to prove it * +

neither does it give you the 'right' to sue somebody....it just helps protect your work and makes it easier to take action against copyright infringement * +
