If you can get it for free,why pay?altho i do like to own originals of certain cds but the individual tracks on my phone combined with the albums i've downloaded would've cost me hundreds to put on legitimately.now you tell me why paying 9-15 quid for a cd is fair? * +

I buy compilations.maybe when that day comes that i start listening to gayplay or 50dense then i may.hmv rarely stock my tunage. But like i said i do like to own originals of some.like i'd love to own all the original gatecrasher cds or the very first armada ibiza cd.copies just aint the same for the shelf. * +

CDs are pricey where i stay and if i really enjoy a album I'll buy it. Why buy a album when i only enjoy a few songs off it? It's a waste. And bands don't really loose out that much because the true fans of a band will buy the album even if they own a copy and bands do earn the majority of cash from tours. The upside of torrents and piracy is that it lets you hear bands you haven't heard plus bands albums that aren't released in certain countries * +

Its usually the record label who decides on prices,thats why songs are so much cheaper if you download them off the bands website.i usually download all the free stuff on record label sites.its legal,why not * +
