Yes its true. Great guitarists both, but probably i prefer Satriani coz his music is more straight hard rock than Vai's music. I have seen Satriani live once, the guy is amazing guitarist. And, he was also the Deep Purple's guitarist in 1993-1994, something that it make him more legend * +

''For The Love Of God'' is great ballad, the live performance of this song in G3 is amazing. And yes, Vai was with Zappa, you can see his influence in many Vai's songs. He was listening what Zappa was playing and he was writing down the notes of everything. Also Zappa used Vai_and_for this reason, coz he couldnt write/read notes * +
