I always plug mine in the tuner plugs as i feel i get a better sound than through phono, can this cause damage? 2thumbsup * +

A Phono signal has a significantly lower power level than a Line-level signal. This difference means that if a Phono output is connected to a Line-level input, the sound will be extremely low. If the amplifier does not have a specific set of inputs marked as Phono, you would need to amplify the Phono signal to the power level of a Line-level signal using a pre-amplifier. * +

no its fine 2 do that, ive bin a dj 4 12yrs and my turntables run through the mixer and into the aux input.never use phono input, especialy if u run the turntables through a mixer.it wil always sound poo! sum turntables that are designed just for playback can sound ok tho through phono. * +

So basically you should be getting a much QUIETER sound through your tuner output. Got to go, lunch over. * +
