Looks like your cd player cant play mp3's try burning a mp3 cd instead of dvd if that dont work try wma format that tends to work * +

If you burning it with nero, select Make Audio CD (not Make Mp3 CD) Then add how many mp3's can fit (80 minutes of music) and burn. It will work perfectly in any CD player. * +
