I'm converting a few of my cassette tapes to my pc in wav and mp3. I'm using line in and plugging it straight into the amp but when i record i get a very tinny sound, no bass at all. I tried recording by plugging the cable into the headphone port and it sounds way better but the vocals are now softer as if only one channel is playing. Anyone have experience with this? *

I have a couple of cassettes I wouldn't mind getting onto cd with the sound beefed up.. *
