Gangsta Rap. Dont you just love it? For me, Gangsta Rap is the best sub-genre of Hip-Hop/Rap! I just love that Westcoast s**t! Thanks to Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy E, for staring this sub-genre, releasing the first song - Boyz N Tha Hood - Then going on to start N.W.A. That made Westcoast Rap well known...But the best thing that happened, was Dre going solo, and Releasing The Chronic. Thats... * +

...when Gangsta Rap reached its peak! Then, 2pac came along, taking gangster rap to a whole new level - Unfortunately after his death in 1996, Gangsta rap also reached its death. There were many attempts to revive it, like Dr. Dre - 2001, 50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Trying, The Game - Doctors Advocate etc. But none of them compare to that hardc*re gangster s**t! Guess I'm only going to stick to... * +

i think that ur purposly nt allowing urself to c past a period in hiphop wr revolution sparkd within hiphop aka gangsta rap...ther r certain artists like crooked i rite nw that r destroyin the westcoast, u shud reali jst let it b and move, its 20o8 nw, luk at the future n reflect tha past * +

Lets use a metaphor. If you see a this super luxury sports car worth 5 mil, a 1996 model, then you see this average family sedan worth a fraction of the sports car, 2008 model. You can afford both, but which would you buy? The older, but better one, or the newer one? * +
