I just get drunk and tune down to drop D or even drop C and strum the top 3 strings as fast as i can whilst quickly alternating between the 1st 3rd and 5th frets. Sounds pretty much like anything todays metal bands come up with

im trying this new pentatonic mode.. like playing 5th minor pentatonic over the roots minor chord or a prgression made from that.. try it.. it doesnt sound that new.. sounds familliar but takes time to get the correct notes at the correct time * +

i.e playing E minor pentatonic over A minor ..its quite amazing what modes do.. and the thought of modes can be built over EVERY d*mn scale is mind boggling.. even new chords can be built that way from building triads... theory and harmony is difficult alright.. * +
