It seems like a faulty battery, or the symbian that eats too much, or you have used it on internet, bluetooth etc too much *

maybe ur in a place with low 3G/HSDPA signal and it keeps trying to search for that, turn it to GSM only. Otherwise maybe its a faulty batt. I thnk Symbian UIQ3.1 is optomized to consume less power than the UIQ3.0 in phones like SE P990, W960 etc. . . *
